KEI to launch undergraduate scholarships for meritorious students in Kashmir

Srinagar: The Kashmir Education Initiative (KEI) is set to shortly begin the process for awarding undergraduate scholarships to meritorious students who have qualified JEE, NEET or UET and secured admission to MBBS, engineering or agricultural courses.

Under the initiative, KEI will guide and facilitate eligible students in applying for its scholarships, besides helping them access other available scholarship and financial-support opportunities.

The organisation has appealed to the public to help identify deserving students who have academic merit but face financial constraints. Preference is particularly being sought for students belonging to families with an annual income of ₹4 lakh or below.

KEI has requested individuals who know such students to share their WhatsApp contact numbers with the organisation, following which its team will get in touch with them and guide them through the scholarship application process.

The organisation said postgraduate and integrated scholarship programmes would also be announced subsequently.

KEI urged members of the community to support the initiative by identifying and guiding deserving students and contributing to its scholarship programme, saying such efforts could help financially disadvantaged students pursue their educational aspirations.
