SRINAGAR, AUGUST 28: Kashmir Government Polytechnic College (KGP), Srinagar, has achieved a significant milestone in technical education, with 10 students selected by Dubai-based Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group (ESAG) through a campus placement drive while they are still pursuing their studies.
The recruitment drive was organised by the Training and Placement Cell of KGP Srinagar in collaboration with ESAG, a UAE-based conglomerate with a legacy spanning more than six decades and interests across retail, real estate, technology and industrial sectors.
The selected students, who are currently in the fifth semester, belong to multiple engineering disciplines. They have been offered positions as Assistant Supervisors in the Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Electronics streams.
The selection process included company presentations, online registration, Computer-Based Tests (CBT) and interviews, followed by the final selection of the candidates.
The students expressed gratitude to Principal Dr. Shafquat Ara, Heads of Departments and faculty in-charges for their guidance, encouragement and continued support throughout their academic journey.
The achievement underscores KGP Srinagar’s focus on industry-oriented education, academic excellence and creating employment opportunities aligned with global industry requirements.
