Srinagar: A Kashmiri professional based in the United States, Suhail Ahmad Tantray, has brought laurels to Jammu & Kashmir after being elevated to the position of Senior Vice President at the Alzheimer’s Research Institute, USA. His achievement has sparked widespread appreciation across the Union Territory, particularly in his hometown Pampore.
Local community leaders described the moment as one of “joy and pride” for Kashmir, praising Tantray for setting an inspiring example for young people aspiring to excel globally. Residents of Pampore—famously known as the ‘Saffron Town’—expressed special pride, calling his accomplishment a reflection of the town’s growing contribution to international scientific and professional fields.
