CCIK Delegation Meets DC Srinagar, Raises Key Trade Concerns

SRINAGAR: The Chamber of Commerce & Industry Kashmir (CCIK) held a detailed interaction on Monday with Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Akshay Labroo, to discuss pressing issues confronting the city’s business community.

The meeting was led by CCIK President Tarik Ghani, accompanied by office bearers Hussain Khan, Aatif Khan, Aijaz Khan, Ashiq Bhat, Zubair, and Umar Jan Wani.

During the deliberations, the CCIK delegation highlighted a range of challenges currently faced by traders and commercial establishments across Srinagar. The members outlined sector-specific concerns and sought administrative intervention for smoother functioning of trade activities in the district.

Deputy Commissioner Labroo acknowledged the issues raised by the chamber and assured the delegation of full support from the district administration. He reiterated the administration’s commitment to working collaboratively with CCIK to resolve problems affecting the business fraternity and to improve the overall commercial environment in Srinagar.

The chamber expressed gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner for his proactive and cooperative approach, emphasizing the importance of sustained coordination between the administration and trade bodies to strengthen the district’s business ecosystem.
