She also announced that the third National Lok Adalat of 2026 would be held on September 12 and urged litigants to take advantage of the opportunity for amicable settlement of disputes.
Tabassum further said that special Lok Adalats for cheque dishonour cases under the Negotiable Instruments Act would be organised on July 18 and November 21 this year. She also referred to the ongoing “Samadhan Samaroh” initiative for suitable Supreme Court cases, which began on April 21 and will culminate in a Special Lok Adalat scheduled for August 21 to 23, 2026.
