Srinagar: In a significant political move, the Jammu & Kashmir Awami National Conference (ANC), led by Begum Khalida Shah, has announced a major organizational restructuring aimed at revitalizing its grassroots network and enhancing coordination across the Union Territory.
According to a statement issued by the party, the overhaul—undertaken under the guidance of the ANC General Secretary—seeks to broaden participation, improve communication channels, and strengthen local representation within the party’s framework. The decision, formally conveyed to the Provincial President, marks what the party described as “a renewed effort to make the organization more responsive to public concerns and participatory in approach.”
