DDC Budgam Chairman Nazir Khan demands repairing of Chadoora roads

Budgam, 13 Nov: Chairman District Development Council Budgam, Nazir Ahmad Khan, while taking serious notice of dilapidated roads in Chadoora Sub division in Budgam, has urged upon the Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary Works to get Srinagar Chadoora and Chadoora Surasyar road repaired as commuters face lot of difficulties while travelling.

In a statement to Ziraat Times, Chairman DDC Budgam while recognizing the severe hardships faced by the people in Chadoora area due to the deplorable road condition from Kralpora, Gopalpora, Wathoora to Chadoora and Chadoora to Surasyar via Sogam, Gund, Zuhama, Hanjura and Dadompora has formally raised the matter with the UT administration.

“The deteriorating condition of these roads has resulted in considerable inconvenience for the residents, causing disruptions to daily life and impacting overall mobility. Chairman DDC Budgam Khan, understanding the urgency of the situation, has appealed to the UT administration for swift and effective measures to address and rectify the road conditions. People are facing a lot of hardships due to the bad condition of the Chadoora Surasyar Road and Srinagar Chadoora Road. It is our collective responsibility to ensure the well-being of our community. I have personally brought this matter to the attention of the UTadministration especially CS & Principal Secretary PWD (Works), urging them to take timely action to ease the suffering of the people in the affected areas,” reads the statement of DDC Chairman Budgam

Nazir Ahmad Khan  emphasized the need for prompt intervention to alleviate the difficulties faced by the residents and ensure the restoration and maintenance of these vital roadways. He expressed confidence that the UT administration will prioritize this issue and take immediate steps to bring relief to the affected communities.

 “I will also talk to Deputy Commissioner Budgam and Executive Engineer R&B Division Chadoora regarding this issue”, the statement further reads.
