ZT weather outlook: How much would it rain for next 3 days?

ZT WEATHER MONITORING

Srinagar: Intermittent rains, both moderate and heavy, are likely across Jammu & Kashmir, starting Tuesday night until Friday afternoon, analysis of multiple weather data by Ziraat Times indicates.

Due to two low pressure areas forming in the vicinity of J&K on Tuesday, and influx of heavily moist monsoon clouds from the plains into J&K, some areas of J&K are likely to witness heavy rainfall as well.

Day-wise weather outlook for both Kashmir and Jammu regions over the next three days is given below:

Wednesday:

Even as some rains are likely in some parts of Kashmir region, especially in North Kashmir, late Tuesday, considerable rainfall activity is likely in most parts of Kashmir region on Wednesday. Tuesday would also see moderate to heavy rainfall in parts of Jammu region, including Pirpanjal and Chenab valleys.

Thursday

On Thursday, moderate to heavy rainfall will occur across Kashmir valley, Jammu region and parts of Ladakh. Mountains of Ladakh are likely to witness snowfall while higher reaches of South East Kashmir, including Kolohai glacier and surrounding areas are likely to witness light snowfall as well.

Friday

Intermittent showers are also likely in some parts of Kashmir valley on early Friday, with rainfall giving way to full sunny weather in the afternoon.
