New Delhi: In the biggest single-day spike in the Coronavirus pandemic, 2,95,041 new positive cases and 2,023 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.
Delhi on Tuesday reported 28,395 coronavirus cases as it registered its biggest ever single-day spike. After several SOS appeals from Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Health Minister Satyendar Jain for oxygen supply at hospitals, some of the city’s biggest hospitals received stocks of medical oxygen late last night.
In Uttar Pradesh, nearly 30,000 new cases were reported.
Over 29.9 lakh vaccine doses were administered on Tuesday in the country. Over 13.01 crore vaccine doses have been administered since the mega inoculation drive against Covid began in January.
