Three AGMUT IAS officers transferred from J&K to Arunachal Pradesh

NEW DELHI, SEPT 3: The Government of India has ordered the transfer of three IAS officers of the AGMUT cadre from Jammu & Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh with immediate effect and until further orders.

According to an order dated September 3, 2026, issued with the approval of the competent authority, the officers transferred are:

• Mohd Aijaz, IAS (AGMUT:2012) — from Jammu & Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh

• Harvinder Singh, IAS (AGMUT:2019) — from Jammu & Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh

• Shishir Gupta, IAS (AGMUT:2020) — from Jammu & Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh

The order states that all three officers shall be relieved within 15 days from the date of issuance of the order.

The transfers are part of cadre postings of IAS officers belonging to the Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram-Union Territories (AGMUT) cadre.
