Srinagar, Jan 4: The online registration process for allied and healthcare professionals and institutions in Jammu and Kashmir is set to begin shortly, as the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) moves to operationalise its digital portals in line with the NCAHP Act, 2021.
The State Allied and Healthcare Council (SAHC), Jammu and Kashmir, said that the NCAHP under the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, has communicated with all State and Union Territory councils regarding the rollout of the national registration portal. Accordingly, all eligible allied and healthcare professionals in J&K have been informed that the registration process will commence in the near future.
Officials said the initiative aims to ensure a seamless, transparent, and efficient registration mechanism for allied and healthcare professionals and institutions across the country. The move is expected to bring uniformity in regulation and strengthen professional standards in the sector.
The SAHC further informed that the draft regulations governing the registration of allied and healthcare professionals have been uploaded on the official website of the NCAHP and are currently under finalisation. These regulations are expected to be notified shortly.
Eligible professionals and stakeholders have been advised to keep all relevant documents and personal details ready to avoid delays once the portal becomes operational. The Council said that details regarding the launch date and step-by-step registration procedure will be communicated in due course.
