Srinagar, Sept 23: Sheikh Mohammad Yousuf has been elected Chairman of the All Kashmir Transport Welfare Association.
The Kashmir Traders & Manufacturers Federation (KTMF) has congratulated Sheikh Mohammad Yousuf on his election and extended its best wishes for his continued tenure.
KTMF President Mohammad Yaseen Khan said that trade and transport are two key sectors of Kashmir’s economy, closely linked to livelihoods, commerce and the movement of goods and services.
Khan said the KTMF and the All Kashmir Transport Welfare Association share a long-standing relationship and have worked together on several issues concerning the business and transport community.
He expressed confidence that the cooperation between the two organisations would continue to grow in the larger economic interests of Kashmir.
The KTMF wished Sheikh Mohammad Yousuf success in his responsibilities and reiterated its commitment to working with the transport fraternity on matters of common concern.
