Gold Prices Continue to Fall; 24K Falls by ₹1,580 Per 10 Grams on Thursday

New Delhi, June 25: Gold prices in India witnessed a decline on Wednesday, with rates for 24-karat, 22-karat and 18-karat gold falling across all major weight categories, providing some respite to consumers ahead of the festive and wedding shopping season.

According to market data analysed by Ziraat Times, 24-karat gold registered a decrease of ₹158 per gram, taking the price of one gram to ₹14,133. The benchmark 10-gram quantity declined by ₹1,580 to ₹1,41,330, while the price of 100 grams dropped by ₹15,800 to ₹14,13,300.

Twenty-two karat gold, commonly used for jewellery, also recorded losses. The price of one gram fell by ₹145 to ₹12,955, while 10 grams of 22K gold were priced at ₹1,29,550, down ₹1,450 compared to the previous trading session. The price of 100 grams declined by ₹14,500 to ₹12,95,500.

Eighteen-karat gold saw a fall of ₹118 per gram, bringing the price to ₹10,600 per gram. The rate for 10 grams stood at ₹1,06,000 after declining by ₹1,180, while 100 grams were priced at ₹10,60,000, down ₹11,800.

Jewellers said the quoted prices serve as indicative market rates and do not include additional charges such as Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Collected at Source (TCS), making charges and other local levies. Consumers have been advised to verify prevailing rates with local jewellers before making purchases.
