Srinagar, June 19: A few employees were injured in an accident at Khyber Cement’s manufacturing plant in Khonmoh on Wednesday night, company officials said in a statement issued Friday.
According to a statement issued by the company, the incident occurred at around 9 pm on June 18. Emergency response protocols were activated immediately, and the injured employees were provided first aid before being shifted to hospital for further treatment.
Khyber Cement said senior members of its management team are closely monitoring the situation and are in constant contact with the injured employees, their families and the attending medical teams.
The company stated that it is extending all necessary assistance to ensure that the affected employees receive the best possible medical care and support.
“At this time, our primary focus remains on the recovery and well-being of the injured employees,” the statement said.
The cause of the accident is being investigated, and further details are expected to be shared later, the company added.
