NHAI Raises FASTag Annual Pass Fee to ₹3,075 from April 1

Ziraat Times News Desk

New Delhi, Mar 15: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced a revision in the fee for the FASTag Annual Pass, increasing it from ₹3,000 to ₹3,075 for the financial year 2026–27.

The revised fee will come into effect from April 1, 2026, in accordance with the provisions of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008, officials said.

According to NHAI, the FASTag Annual Pass is available for eligible non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag and can be used at around 1,150 fee plazas on national highways and expressways across the country.

The pass allows users to avoid frequent recharges by paying a one-time annual fee, providing validity for one year or up to 200 toll crossings, whichever comes earlier.

Officials said the annual pass becomes active within two hours on the existing FASTag linked to the vehicle after payment through the Rajmarg Yatra App or the NHAI website.

The FASTag Annual Pass scheme was launched on August 15, 2025, and has gained significant traction among private vehicle owners, with more than 56 lakh users adopting the facility so far.

Authorities said the growing uptake of the annual pass reflects its convenience and cost-effectiveness for regular users of national highways.
