Ziraat Times Team Report
New Delhi — India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and UN Women India have jointly launched a global Call for Abstracts seeking real-world, scalable Artificial Intelligence solutions that advance gender equality across the Global South.
The initiative—part of the run-up to the India–AI Impact Summit 2026—will culminate in a curated international compendium titled “Top 15 AI Solutions from the Global South.” The publication aims to highlight measurable AI-driven interventions improving the lives of women and girls in sectors such as health, finance, safety, education, and climate resilience.
Call for Global Submissions
The compendium invites innovators, researchers, practitioners, and domain experts to submit 250-word abstracts describing AI solutions that have demonstrated verifiable impact and are scalable beyond pilot stages. Submissions are open until 15 December 2025.
