Omar Abdullah finishes 21-km Delhi marathon run with personal best time of 1 hour, 53 mins

NEW DELHI: Jammu & Kashmir’s Chief Minister Omar Abdullah successfully completed the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon on Sunday, clocking his personal best time of 1 hour, 53 minutes, and 35 seconds, covering a total distance of 21.097 kilometres.

According to official timing data from the marathon organizers, Omar Abdullah crossed the finish line at 6:53 a.m., maintaining an impressive average pace of 5 minutes and 24 seconds per kilometre throughout the race.

Sharing his achievement on social media, Abdullah wrote, “Just completed the #VedantaDelhiHalfMarathon with a personal best finishing time.”

The Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon, one of India’s premier long-distance running events, attracted thousands of runners from across the country and abroad, including professional athletes, amateur runners, and fitness enthusiasts.

Omar Abdullah, an avid long-distance runner, has been a regular participant in major marathon events across India. His latest performance marks a significant improvement over his previous runs, highlighting his consistent commitment to fitness and endurance sports.
