Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) has announced Aga Syed Mehmood as its official candidate for the upcoming Budgam Assembly election.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the party said the decision was made on the directions of the JKNC leadership, as part of its preparations for the forthcoming polls.
Extending its best wishes to the candidate, the party expressed confidence that Aga Syed Mehmood will run a campaign rooted in public service and carry forward the National Conference’s commitment to the welfare and development of the people of Budgam.
“The party extends best wishes to Aga Syed Mehmood for a successful campaign in service of the people of Budgam,” the statement said.
