PHDCCI Kashmir unveils Er. Pervaiz Kaiser’s book on industrial entrepreneurship

SRINAGAR: The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) Kashmir on Friday unveiled a new book titled “Setting Up Industry In Kashmir”, authored by Er. Syed Pervaiz Kaiser, the Industrial Affairs Convenor of PHDCCI Kashmir.

The unveiling ceremony was held at the PHDCCI Kashmir office in Jawaharnagar, Srinagar, and was attended by core members and senior officials of the Chamber.

Chairman of PHDCCI Kashmir, A P Vicky Shaw, while speaking on the occasion, commended Er. Kaiser’s lifelong contributions to Kashmir’s industrial ecosystem. He said the book is envisioned as a comprehensive guide for aspiring entrepreneurs, a practical tool for existing enterprises, and a document of policy relevance for government and institutional stakeholders.

Free mentoring initiative launched

On the sidelines of the book unveiling, the PHDCCI Kashmir also announced the establishment of a free Mentoring and Entrepreneurship Counseling Cell, aimed at guiding youth and budding entrepreneurs in the region. The initiative will be operational from July 1st, and will offer sessions every Friday at 2:30 PM at the PHDCCI Jawaharnagar office.

The mentoring cell will be led by Er. Syed Pervaiz Kaiser and Er. Bilal Bhat, alongside a team of industry experts, and will provide one-on-one mentoring, startup guidance, and career counseling. Participation will be free, and interested individuals can register at [email protected].

“This initiative is a step toward empowering the youth of Kashmir with the right knowledge and mentorship to build sustainable enterprises. Er. Kaiser’s book and the mentoring cell will serve as catalysts for industrial growth in the region,” Mr. Shaw said.

A resource for future industrialists

Speaking at the occasion, Er. Syed Pervaiz Kaiser said the book reflects his decades of experience in supporting MSMEs and industrial units in Kashmir. “My aim has always been to simplify industrial setup and operations for budding entrepreneurs. This book, along with the mentoring cell, will bridge the gap between vision and execution,” he remarked.
