CII delegation calls on DC Srinagar, Akshay Labroo

Srinagar – A delegation of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) J&K Council called upon the newly appointed Deputy Commissioner of Srinagar, Akshay Labroo in a courtesy meeting aimed at strengthening industry-government engagement in the region.

According to a statement issued to Ziraat Times, the delegation was led by Iqram Ali Shafiee, Vice Chairman, CII J&K, and included key members: Sajad Lone, Co-Convener CII J&K Healthcare Panel; Hussain Khan, Convener CII J&K Tourism Panel, Abdur Rashid, Sanan Gojwari,  Khurshid Dar, Head CII J&K.

During the interaction, Mr. Iqram provided an overview of CII’s role as a leading industry body, its presence in Jammu & Kashmir, and the wide array of initiatives undertaken in areas such as policy advocacy, skilling, education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and MSME support, the statement added.

Akshay Labroo, while appreciating the work being done by CII in the UT, expressed his interest in engaging further with CII members and exploring possible ways of working together, the statement further said.
