KCCI Delegation Visits Family of Syed Adil, Hails His Heroic Act

Srinagar:  A delegation from the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI), led by its President Javid Ahmad Tenga, visited the grieving family of Syed Adil at Hapatnad to offer condolences following his tragic death in Baisaran on April 22.

Syed Adil lost his life while heroically rescuing tourists during a mishap in the popular tourist spot of Baisaran. His act of bravery has received wide recognition and praise from across the globe.

The KCCI delegation included Fayaz Punjabi (Junior Vice President), Faiz Ahmad Bakshi (Secretary General), Zubair Mahajan (Treasurer), and Tauseef Bhat (Executive Committee Member). The team met with Adil’s father, Syed Hyder Shah, and other family members, expressing solidarity and acknowledging the selfless courage shown by the deceased.

“KCCI conveys deep sympathy to the bereaved family and salutes the sacrifice of Syed Adil, who gave his life saving others,” Secretary General Faiz Ahmad Bakshi said in a statement. “His heroism must be remembered as an example of Kashmiri hospitality and humanity.”

The KCCI assured the family of its meaningful support in this time of grief and said it would also urge the government and civil society to formally recognize Syed Adil’s bravery.
