Ziraat Times News Network

SRINAGAR: Unit holders of Tulbal Industrial Estate,  situated in north Kashmir,  staged a peaceful protest on Monday, demanding the release of their allotted land for 75 unit holders.

The protestors, addressing the media, asserted that they had fulfilled all requisite procedures for land allocation. “However, the authorities are withholding it, resulting in delays in commencing their businesses,” they said.

They urged the government to take prompt action to secure possession of their allocated land, allowing them to kickstart their businesses and generate income.

Javid Ahmad Bhat, President of the Industrial Estate, said that despite completing all formalities for land acquisition, they face delays in taking possession, hindering their business plans and causing financial hardships.

Bhat also announced that the next protest is scheduled for April 18th at 10 am at Sanat Ghar Srinagar if the government fails to resolve the issue by then.

The unit holders urged the authorities to intervene and expedite the process of handing over possession of the allotted land, appealing for swift resolution of their concerns regarding the delay in the land allotment process.
