CCIK holds Executive Meeting, requests LG Admin to make 2024 a Heritage Year

Srinagar, 29 Feb: The Chamber of Commerce and Industries Kashmir held its Executive Meeting at Raddison Srinagar on Wednesday.

The Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industries, CCIK hailed Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha and the Power Development Department for introducing the New Amnesty Scheme for power consumers.

The CCIK also demanded an Amnesty Scheme for commercial trade.

“It will boost revenue in J&K UT. We are expecting the govt will announce it by the end of March. It will give big relief for the business fraternity”, CCIK said.

In a meeting, CCIK also said it was offering Special Financial Packages for New Entrepreneurs’ startup through MSME (Govt of India) to start their business.

CCIK will provide specific venues with the Administration for women entrepreneurs to display and selling their products in order to generate income, the statement added.

CCIK requests LG administration to make this year a Heritage year, in order to promote tourism and explore old heritage places in Srinagar. Srinagar should not be neglected on the tourism front, CCIK observed.
