Lassipora: The Chairman of the Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA), T K Manoj Kumar, recently visited CA Stores in Lassipora to promote warehousing registration and seamless integration with WDRA. Accompanied by Director of Horticulture Planning and Marketing Vikas Sharma, General Manager DIC Pulwama Fayaz Ahmad Banday, and General Manager JKSIDCO Shabir Ahmad, the Chairman explored prominent cold storage facilities like Super Fresh Agri, Abraq Agro Fresh, and Alpine Agro Fresh.
The visit aimed to raise awareness about the registration of warehouses under the Warehousing (Development & Regulation) Act and integrate CA Stores into the e-NAM platform. By simplifying and enhancing these processes, the initiative seeks to maximize returns for farmers in the region.
JKPICCA President Ejaz Qureshi lauded Director Sharma for organizing a groundbreaking linkage awareness workshop for warehousing and CA stakeholders in Kashmir. He also emphasized the need to connect IGC Lassipora through an industrial corridor for better accessibility.
