Srinagar, Aug 2: Director General of J&K Police, Dilbag Singh, IPS, has effected transfer of 11 Deputy Superintendents of Police.
An official order issued by the department, a copy of which has been received by Ziraat Times, said:
In the interest of administration, transfer/posting of the following Deputy Superintendents of Police have been effected by J&K Police from and to the places shown against each is ordered with immediate effect:
1. Nisar Ahmad
SDPO Banihal transferred as DYSP DAR Srinagar.
2. Owais Ahmad Wani
DYSP Hqrs Srinagar as CIO Kulgam relieving SDPO Pampore from additional charge.
3. Mehraj Ud Din Raina
DYSP Traffic Ganderbal/Bandipora as CIO Shopian
4. Satish Kumar
DYSP DAR to SDPO/ PC Handwara
5. Imtyaz Ahmad
DYSP AHJ Srinagar as DYSP Security Kashmir
6. Ms. Syed Sleet Shah SDPO/ PC Handwara as DYSP Hqrs Srinagar
7. Ajay Jamwal
DYSP IR-12th Bn as SDPO Banihal
8. Sumit Kumar Sharma
DYSP PC Srinagar as SDPO Kothibagh

Further, Mohammad Amin Gatoo, DYSP (EXK952533), who has been promoted vide Government Order No. 365- Home of 2023 dated 17.07.2023, is adjusted as DYSP Crime Branch (EOW) Kashmir.
