J&K Govt announces promotions in Power Development Dept. Here is the list.

Srinagar, Sept 29: Fulfilling a major demand of state power engineers, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, has issued two crucial government orders regarding the placement and promotion of interim power engineers. These placements and promotions are effective immediately, subject to the clearance of the Departmental Promotion Committee and the Competent Authority.

Under Government Order No: 121-JK(PDD) of 2023, dated September 29, 2023, a copy of which has been shared with Ziraat Times, the government has sanctioned the placement of the following I/c Executive Engineers (E) as I/c Superintending Engineers (E) in their current pay and grade. The engineers in this placement are as follows:

1. Jarnail Singh
2. Mohammad Hussain Shah
3. Dalbir Singh
4. Javaid Ahmad Dar
5. Vijay Kumar Balmotra
6. Sanjay Kumar Bhagat
7. Ravi Kant Kalsotra
8. Surjeet Singh
9. Farooq Ahmed Shah
10. Altaf Hussain
11. Tariq Maqbool Dand
12. Ajaz Ahmed Sheikh

In another order, (Government Order No: 122-JK(PDD) of 2023, dated September 29, 2023), the government has also sanctioned the placement of the following I/c Assistant Executive Engineers (E) as I/c Executive Engineers (E) in their current pay and grade:

10. Mohinder Pal Singh

12. Anil Verma
13. Abdul Majid Salroo
14. Manzoor Ahmad Wani

Diploma Holders:

The conditions for these placements and promotions are as follows:

– These placements and promotions are temporary on a stop-gap basis and are subject to the outcome of any pending writ petition(s) before competent courts of law.
– They shall not grant any inherent rights, interests, or equities when considered for promotion on a substantive basis through the DPC/PSC.
– In the event of adverse CID/Vigilance reports or reports of FIR/PE/RDA/DE being brought to the department’s attention, the placement or promotion of these engineers shall be considered canceled ab-initio, without further notice.
– The inter-se seniority of the officers will be determined based on the recommendations of the relevant recommending agency, namely PSC/DPC.

The engineers will continue to work at their current place(s) of posting until further orders.
