New Delhi, May 6: The Union Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt of India, has confirmed the list of eight private Hajj operators from Jammu & Kashmir for Hajj 2023 pilgrimage.
According to a official ministry communication received by Ziraat Times and confirmed by All J&K Hajj Umrah Tour Operators Association, a total of 810 applications were received in the ministry for registration under two categories (244 in category-1 and 566 in category-2) across the country. These applications were examined in the ministry in terms of the provisions of the policy for Haj Group Organisers for Hajj 2023 and on the basis of documents and information submitted by the HGO’s in their application and their subsequent clarification/replies.
After the scrutiny process, 171 HGO’s in category-1 and 340 HGO’s in category-2 have been found eligible for registration for Haj-2023 on 05th May 2023. The list of eligible Hajj Group Operators (HGO’s) in Jammu and Kashmir who have been found eligible for Hajj 2023 is given here under:
