He further said that no person, who has encroached upon the state land,  will be spared in the upcoming campaign which will be aimed at retrieving the entire state land from its occupiers.

“Some people who have been soared so far think that the drive is over. I want to make it clear that the driver is not over, it will resume soon. No one will be spared, especially those who have used their influence and who have occupied state land”, he said, without elaborating on how the new policy would look like with regard to different categories of land and the quantum and the nature of regularisation for small land holders.

The Lieutenant Governor also said that so far about 6 lakh kanals of state land has  been retrieved from various areas of Jammu and Kashmir during the previous anti encroachment drive.
