Forest Department commences ‘Vigilance Awareness Week-2022’

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 31: Jammu and Kashmir Forest Department today observed the commencement of Vigilance Awareness Week commencing from October 31, 2022 by taking integrity pledge.

The Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & HoFF Dr. Mohit Gera administered the pledge to officers/ officials of the Forest Department at Forest Headquarter Sheikhbagh, here.

In his address Dr. Gera said the purpose of Vigilance Awareness Week is to generate awareness in the public at large about the ill effects of corruption. The judiciary and vigilance play a proactive role in protecting citizens’ fundamental rights and upholding democratic vitality of the nation, he said.

All the Officers / officials of the Forest Department wholeheartedly participated and pledged to work honestly, maintaining highest standards of integrity, transparency and code of ethics.
