German-Switzerland Mountaineering Expedition-2022 culminates in Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, OCT 21: German-Switzerland Mountaineering Expedition – 2022 successfully culminated in Kishtwar Region of J&K Himalayas. The expedition was started on 12th Sep 2022 and continued till 17th Oct 2022 under the supervision of Liaison Officer, Major Raj Kumar of Unit Records the Mahar Regiment, Saugor (MP).

Expedition was a great success because the team climbed the peak Chomochior (Alt 6270M) in Haftal Glacier near Bhujas from the South-West ridge.

There was no security breach by the foreign expedition team and neither any one fell sick during the expedition in the mountains nor did any accident take place en-route to the glacier, as debriefed by the Liaison Officer on return from the expedition.

German-Switzerland Nationals stated that the region of Kishtwar in J&K was full of natural beauty and had wide scope of Adventure Tourism and heartily thanked the District Administration Kishtwar, and especially Deputy Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav, for the Support and facilities provided to the team during the entire expedition.

They all wished to visit again in future to experience more of Adventure Tourism in India.

Today the team arrived safely to Delhi and thereafter the debriefing ceremony flew back to their respective Countries, being truly satisfied and Happy on completion of the Successful Expedition with Very Sweet Memories.
