COVID-19 Surge: J&K reports two deaths, 692 fresh cases

Srinagar, Jul 27: Jammu and Kashmir Wednesday reported 692 fresh cases of Covid-19, pushing the number of active cases to 4,074 while two deaths were reported in here in the last 24 hours,  taking the overall death toll to 4765 from the pandemic.

Among the 692 new cases, 431 were reported from Kashmir division while as 261 from Jammu division.

An official handout said that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir have reached to 291,427 including 286,849 recoveries and 2,427 deaths, while total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 170,520 including 166,259 recoveries and 2,338 deaths.
