Let, May 29: PHDCCI Jammu chairman Rahul Sahai met Ravinder Kumar IAS Secretary to LG Ladakh & Secretary PDD, ITI, Animal, Sheep husbandry and Cooperatives of Govt of Ladakh UT.
During his meeting with Mr Ravinder Kumar, Mr Sahai had a detailed discussion regarding development of Ladakh and congratulated Ravinder Singh for working tirelessly in the fields of Sports, PDD, ITI, Cooperatives, according to a media statement received by Ziraat Times. Mr Sahai also stressed on interaction between civil society and Govt of UT of Ladakh and J&K.
During the visit, Mr Sahai also had an interaction with top hoteliers and businessmen of Leh in the morning and shared their feedback with Ravinder Singh.
During the interaction Ravinder Singh said that the UT of Ladakh will be at par in terms of tourism and other facilities with the best tourist destinations in the world in coming years. He also said that while the UT has certain challenges but the government was committed to overcoming those very soon, the statement added.
Mr Ravinder also observed that after completion of Zojila Tunnel there would be an all-weather connectivity to Ladakh from J&K and people at large would be benefitted. Mr Kumar appreciated Sahai’s initiative of interaction with civil society of Ladakh and said inter-UT interaction is must for development and growth and it should be continued, the statement added.
