Ganderbal, Mar 17: Srinagar Development Authority (SDA) has sought approval for the transfer of land measuring 6300 Kanal in Ganderbal district.
In communication with Deputy commissioner Ganderbal, SDA has written that in light of the telephonic discussion held on the subject with Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir pursuant to the visit of Principal Secretary to Govt Housing and Urban Development Department, it is stated that the land measuring 6300 Kanals of Rakhs and Farms, situated at village Safapora, Mansbal, Tehsil Lar, in District Ganderbal is suitable for the development of Satellite Township and is required by the Srinagar Development Authority for the same.
The communique further reads that the Srinagar Development Authority places an indent for transfer of 6300 Kanals of land (Rakhs and Farms), situated at village Safapora, Mansbal, Tehsil Lar, in District Ganderbal to the Authority for development of
Satellite Township.
‘Revenue papers of the said land may also be provided to this office for authentication”.
Meanwhile, locals of the district have demanded the administration to provide compensation on a priority basis. (CNS)
