Srinagar: The Rotary Club of Kashmir has elected Jagjit Singh as its new President for the year 2025–2026, marking the beginning of a fresh chapter in the club’s service journey. The announcement was made following the club’s annual leadership transition meeting held in Srinagar.
In his message of gratitude, Singh expressed deep humility and appreciation for the confidence reposed in him by fellow Rotarians. “I am most humbled and honored to be elected as President of the Rotary Club of Kashmir for the year 2025–2026 with the help and support of my fellow club members,” he said.
Calling for collective commitment to the Rotary motto of “Service above Self,” Singh urged members to continue fostering a culture of selfless service, community leadership, and inclusive engagement. “Let us lead the way as Rotary shares its legacy of ‘Service above Self’,” he remarked.
Singh takes over the leadership at a time when the club is actively engaged in health, education, environmental sustainability, and community welfare initiatives across Jammu & Kashmir. Members have expressed confidence in his leadership and vision to strengthen the club’s outreach in the year ahead.
