Srinagar, Sep 4: The Sikh youth staged a candle light protest near court road Srinagar against the killing of four farmers killed in an accident on Sunday in Uttar Pradesh.

Talking to media persons as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the protesters alleged: “We are protesting against the killing of four farmers who were killed in a deliberate attempt by a BJP Minister’s son who ran over his car.”

They said that paying compensation and providing jobs can’t bring back the lives. “We demand proper action and punishment to culprit so that this terrorising and suppressing environment which has been created nationally by BJP will come to end,” the protestors said, adding that “It is not about any political party but its matter of human rights, if we can’t express our views and opinions then we are living under dictatorship.”—(KNO)
