RAMBAN, OCT 8: District Magistrate Ramban, Mussarat Islam has restricted the movement of Goods Carriers with over 24 tone load over Maitra Bridge.
“Keeping in view safety of people and load bearing capacity of Double Single Bailley Bridge (DSBB) of 60 feet span over Nallah at Maitra market in Ramban town, restriction is imposed on movement of vehicles carrying load of more than 24 tones over the bridge till further order” an order issued by the DM reads.
Any violation of this order shall invite legal action which may include penalty as well seizure of the vehicle, the order states further.
