J&K Govt reallocates business portfolios among Advisors

Srinagar: J&K Govt on Monday reallocated business portfolios among the Advisors to the Lieutenant Governor, L. G. Sinha.

An official order issued on Monday said, “In supersession of Government Order No. 809-JK(GAD) of 2020 dated 01.09.2020, it is hereby ordered that Farooq Khan, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar and Baseer Ahmad Khan, Advisors to the Lieutenant Governor, J&K shall exercise powers of the Minister under the Transaction of Business of the Government of Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir Rules, 2019 in respect of Departments allocated to them as per Annexure-‘A’ to this Order.”


For the purpose of official correspondence, Advisors Farooq Khan, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar and Baseer Ahmad Khan shall continue to be designated as Advisor (F), Advisor (B) & Advisor (BK) respectively.


It has further been ordered that the papers related to other Departments shall be disposed of in the manner indicated in Annexure-‘B’ to this Order.
