Srinagar: Due to COVID-19 pandemic, Directorate of Extension, SKUAST- Kashmir is holding SAC meetings of all Krishi Vigyan Kendras of Kashmir and Ladakh regions on virtual platform (Google Meet) from 6th-27th August, 2020.
“The SAC meetings provide a platform for Farmer-Scientist interface wherein the progress of the Kendras is reviewed and a need-based and farmer-oriented action plan is devised”, a statement received by Ziraat Times from the Information & Publication Wing of the Directorate of Extension said.
The meetings are chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nazeer Ahmed, Co-chaired by Director Extension Prof. Mushtaq Ahmad and Coordinated by Associate Director Extension (KVKs) Prof. Amal Saxena. Director ICAR-ATARI Ludhiana Dr Rajbir Singh is attending the meetings as a guest of honour, the statement added.
