COVID-19: Two more middle-aged persons die in Kashmir, toll 184

Srinagar: Two more persons, who were tested positive for Covid-19, have died in Kashmir, taking the toll of deaths related to Covid-19 to 184.

Officials said that two patients who died include 46-year-old male from from Sopore Baramulla and 55-year-old woman from Arabal Pulwama.

Dr G H Yatoo, Nodal Officer for Covid-19 at SKIMS said that a 46-year-old male from Sopore who was admitted on July 07 died at SKIMS on Monday morning at 5:45 am.

He said the patient was suffering from multiple myeloma, Thrombocytopenia, Electrolyte dysfunction and other ailments.

Dr Salim Tak, Medical Superintendent at CD hospital told KNO that a 55-year-old lady from Pulwama who was admitted on 05 July died at CD hospital on Monday afternoon. He said that patient was suffering from COPD, bilateral pneumonia and other ailments.

Pertinently, two patients including 75-year-old male from Rambagh Srinagar and 50-year-old male from Uri Baramulla died at SKIMS on Sunday evening.

With two more deaths, the death toll related to Covid-19 has reached to 184 in J&K including 167 from Kashmir division and 17 from Jammu division. —(KNO)
