SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 02: The Agriculture Department Kashmir has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Posts to facilitate secure, time-bound booking, transmission and delivery of sensitive agricultural materials, samples, documents and official consignments.
The MoU was signed by Director Agriculture Kashmir Sartaj Ahmad Shah and ASP Headquarters Division Srinagar Ramesh Lal Sharma.
Speaking on the occasion, Director Agriculture Kashmir said the agreement with the Department of Posts would provide the Agriculture Department an opportunity to fast-track the delivery of sensitive items and official consignments through Speed Post services.
The initiative is aimed at ensuring a more secure and efficient mechanism for transmitting agricultural materials, samples and official documents, while reducing delays in their delivery.
