Gold Prices Slip in India; 24-Carat Gold Falls by ₹27 per Gram

Srinagar, June 24: Gold prices in India registered a marginal decline on Tuesday, with rates for 24-carat, 22-carat and 18-carat gold witnessing a drop across various denominations.

According to the latest market update, the price of 24-carat gold stood at ₹14,433 per gram, down by ₹27 from the previous session. Similarly, 22-carat gold was priced at ₹13,230 per gram, marking a decrease of ₹25, while 18-carat gold was available at ₹10,825 per gram, lower by ₹20.

For larger quantities, 8 grams of 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,15,464, reflecting a decline of ₹216, while the same quantity of 22-carat gold cost ₹1,05,840, down by ₹200. The price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold was quoted at ₹1,44,330, a fall of ₹270, whereas 10 grams of 22-carat gold was available at ₹1,32,300, lower by ₹250.

The rate for 100 grams of 24-carat gold stood at ₹14,43,300, registering a decrease of ₹2,700. The corresponding price for 100 grams of 22-carat gold was ₹13,23,000, down by ₹2,500.

Market sources said the quoted prices are indicative and do not include applicable taxes and levies such as GST and TCS. Consumers have been advised to check with local jewellers for final retail prices.
