According to official sources, the agenda includes a proposal to enhance the MLA Constituency Development Fund from ₹3 crore to ₹4 crore per year, a move aimed at empowering legislators to undertake more local development works.

The Cabinet is also likely to approve relaxation in qualification norms under the State Marriage Assistance Scheme to widen its reach among economically weaker sections. Additionally, a ₹45.80 crore sewerage project for Gulmarg is expected to receive the green light to improve sanitation infrastructure in the popular tourist destination.

Among other major items, the meeting is expected to clear several new legislative and administrative measures, including the J&K Shops and Establishments Bill, 2025, proposed amendments to the GST Act, and approvals for e-auctioning of limestone blocks to promote transparency in mineral allocation.

The Cabinet may also decide on reorganization of town planning units and the extension of heritage craft courses across Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and polytechnics to promote skill development and preserve traditional crafts in the region.

The decisions taken in today’s Cabinet meeting are expected to set the tone for the upcoming Assembly session and advance the government’s agenda of administrative and developmental reforms.
