
Srinagar: The PHDCCI Kashmir region convened an Executive Committee (EC) meeting chaired by Chairman Vicky Shaw, with Co-Chairs Javaid Anim and Himayu Wani in attendance. A key highlight of the meeting was the appointment of Convenors and Co-Convenors for various empowered expert committees to drive initiatives for the upcoming presidential year.

Additionally, PHDCCI introduced a Women’s Wing, the SHE Forum, led by Madeena Mir, with Co-Convenors Ms. Qaiser and Zainab Syed.
Community Initiatives Announced
The meeting also featured esteemed guests and unveiled pivotal initiatives:
- Women Empowerment Event: Dr. Rekha Modi, Founder and President of Stree Shakti – The Parallel Force, announced a major women empowerment event in collaboration with PHDCCI. Scheduled for April at SKICC, the event aims to spotlight and amplify women’s contributions across various sectors.
- Health Camp Initiative: Dr. Niraj Mattoo, Farzana Mumtaz (Editor of News Kashmir and Treasurer of the Press Club of Kashmir), and Dr. Quratulain (District Ayush Trainer) announced a joint health camp to be held this month. The camp will serve marginalized communities, aligning with PHDCCI’s commitment to social responsibility and healthcare accessibility.
