Srinagar: An emergency meeting of Beopar Mandal Mahraj Gunj was held under the Presidentship of Khurshid Ahmad Dalal to mourn the sad demise of Vice. President of our brother organization, the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc (KCC&I ) Dr. Abdul Majeed Mir, a statement of the Mandal issued to Ziraat Times said today.
“Mir, a resident of Rawalpora Srinagar was affiliated with textile business and owned a weaving factory at Industrial Estate Rangreith Srinagar outskirts”, the statement said, adding, “the demise of Mir is a great loss to the business community. Dr. Abdul Majid Mir worked in the interest of business community in Kashmir and occupied various posts at KCC&I.”
In the meeting it was Prayed May Allahﷻ bless his soul with Eternal Peace in Jannatul Ferdaus and give patience to bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. We stand by his family, particularly his son Aadil Mir in this hour of grief and sorrow, the Mandal said.
