SRINAGAR: A delegation from UNICEF India called on Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in Srinagar on Tuesday.
The meeting focused on child-centred development and measures to strengthen child protection across the Union Territory.
Discussions covered preventing violence and exploitation against children, strengthening the juvenile justice system and expanding welfare programmes for vulnerable children in Jammu & Kashmir.
Political Advisor to the Chief Minister, Mudassar Shahmiri, was also present on the occasion.
