SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 30: Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather on Wednesday adjourned the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly sine die, bringing the Autumn Session to a close after seven sittings held between September 21 and 30.
In his concluding remarks, Rather thanked legislators, Assembly staff and officials involved in the conduct of the session.
The Speaker thanked members for their participation and said his responsibility as the presiding officer was to facilitate legislators in raising public issues and conveying the expectations of the people they represent.
He appreciated members for making effective use of the time available during the session, saying their participation reflected their commitment to addressing issues concerning the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
The Autumn Session commenced on September 21 and concluded on September 30 with the Assembly completing seven sittings.
