Srinagar, September 28: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, who also holds the Finance portfolio, on Monday introduced the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Amendment Bill, 2026 in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly during the ongoing Autumn Session.
The Bill, designated as L.A. Bill No. 12 of 2026, seeks to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Goods & Services Tax Act, 2017.
The Bill has already been published in an extraordinary issue of the Official Gazette.
The introduction of the legislation took place during the Assembly proceedings of the Autumn Session 2026.
