Srinagar, August 22: The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) Kashmir has appointed Hardeep Singh Dutta as its new District Convenor for Baramulla, as part of its efforts to strengthen grassroots engagement with the business community across the Kashmir Valley.

The appointment was confirmed by PHDCCI Kashmir Chairman A. P. Vicky Shaw.

In his new role, Dutta will lead the Chamber’s outreach and membership initiatives in Baramulla and work to enhance access for entrepreneurs, traders and industrialists to PHDCCI’s resources, networking platforms and policy advocacy mechanisms.

Shaw said the appointment of district convenors was an important step towards expanding the Chamber’s presence across the region and ensuring more inclusive participation in economic development.

“PHDCCI will extend its reach to all districts of the Kashmir region with the appointment of convenors. We are dedicated to working for the economic development of all districts, ensuring inclusive opportunity for everyone,” he said.

The Chamber said the initiative forms part of its broader strategy to support local industries, facilitate investment and strengthen the business ecosystem across Jammu and Kashmir.
