Ministry of Minority Affairs approves Alkhuddam Hajj & Umrah Services for Hajj 2027 eligibility

SRINAGAR: The Ministry of Minority Affairs (Government of India) has officially published the list of eligible Haj Group Organisers (HGOs) for Hajj 2027 following a scrutiny process under the HGO Policy. Among the approved private operators, Srinagar-based Alkhuddam Hajj & Umrah Services has secured qualification under the Category-I classification.

The decision was formalized via an official notification (Ref: HAJ-15/2/2026-HAJ-MoMA) issued by the Haj Division of the Ministry. According to the directive, all applications submitted through the HGO Portal were evaluated based on compliance, financial eligibility, operational experience, and required documentation.

Key Details of the Official Notification

  • Regulatory Approval: The list of eligible HGOs was finalized following recommendations from the Ministry’sScrutiny Committee.

  • Registration Category: Alkhuddam Hajj & Umrah Services is listed under serial number 153 (HGO ID: JK01781527) as a qualified Category-I operator.

  • Consolidated HGO (CHGO) Requirements: Under Clause 4.4 of the policy, selected Lead HGOs are instructed to form CHGOs with a quota target of approximately 2,000 pilgrims each. Every CHGO must comprise representation from Category-1 Lead, Category-1 Non-Lead, and New Category-II applicants.

Operator Response

Following the official announcement, Sheikh Feroz Ahmad Sidiq, Managing Director of Alkhuddam Hajj and Umrah Services, issued a public statement expressing appreciation to the Ministry for restoring the operator’s eligibility status.

“I extend my deepest respect and heartfelt thanks to the Ministry of Minority Affairs for once again placing their trust in Alkhuddam,” stated Feroz. “This approval is an honour and a responsibility, one that I take with full sincerity, dedication, and respect for the faith of the people we serve.”

Feroz also expressed gratitude to the agency’s patrons, well-wishers, and fraternity for their continued support through recent periods of uncertainty.

With the publication of the eligible list, lead group organizers are required to finalize and submit their CHGO compositions to the Ministry within three days.
