TTIG Delegation Meets LG, Discusses Tourism Sector, Amarnath Yatra Arrangements

Srinagar, July 6: A delegation of Team Travel Trade Industry Group (TTIG), led by its Chairman Zahoor Ahmad Karnai, on Sunday met Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and discussed various issues concerning the tourism sector and the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.

The delegation included Mohammad Akram Siah, Mohammad Shafi Wangnoo, Bashir Ahmad Karnai and Momin Wani.

During the meeting, the delegation raised several issues affecting the tourism sector and put forward suggestions aimed at strengthening tourism activities, improving visitor facilities and ensuring smooth arrangements during the ongoing pilgrimage.

The members emphasised the need for coordinated efforts among the administration, tourism stakeholders and other agencies to promote sustainable tourism and enhance the overall experience of visitors to Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a statement, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha gave a patient hearing to the delegation and appreciated the suggestions put forward by Team TTIG.

The Lieutenant Governor assured the delegation that the genuine concerns and issues highlighted during the meeting would receive due consideration and that the concerned departments would take appropriate steps for their effective and timely resolution.

The delegation expressed gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor for his support and commitment towards the development of the tourism sector and the welfare of stakeholders associated with the industry.
